Hands On Atlanta is the premiere volunteer organization in Georgia and manages the largest AmeriCorps program statewide. The agency convenes partners to facilitate enrichment programs, coordinate large-scale food distributions, orchestrate city-wide, on-the-ground beautification initiatives that lift up communities in need, and so much more. Last year, Hands On Atlanta celebrated their 1,000,000th volunteer and engaged double the number of annual volunteers over the last five years, mobilizing 62,000 people to serve at more than 150 nonprofit partners and schools across Metro Atlanta.
Hands On Atlanta maintains strong corporate partnerships with its extensive experience facilitating impactful employee volunteer projects. The organization aims to expand partnerships with private foundations and increase funding through government grants to fuel its mission.
Alloy partners with Hands On Atlanta to maintain a diverse revenue portfolio through private foundation grants and public funding. Beginning in 2014, Alloy coached Hands On Atlanta on best practices, including relationship-building and enhanced program outcomes tracking. As the organization enhanced its funding viability, it attracted more significant, multi-year grant awards and additional government funding.
Together, Hands On Atlanta and Alloy have built a strong and successful grants practice:
Our longstanding relationship with Alloy has positively impacted tens of thousands of lives in Atlanta. It’s been invaluable. They bring a level of professionalism and organization to our grant-writing efforts that level up our development team.
– Jay Cranman, President & CEO, Hands On Atlanta
